Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms") define the conditions for using the services (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provided by ihopes (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") on this website. Users are requested to use the Service in accordance with the Terms.

Article 2 (User Registration)

Registration applicants complete user registration by applying in the manner prescribed by the Company and obtaining approval from the Company. The Company may not approve the registration application if it determines that the applicant:

  1. Provided false information during the registration application.
  2. Has previously violated the Terms.
  3. Is otherwise deemed inappropriate by the Company for registration.

Article 3 (Management of User ID and Password)

Users are responsible for managing their User ID and password for the Service. Users must not transfer or lend their User ID and password to any third party under any circumstances. If the combination of User ID and password matches the registered information and is logged in, it is regarded as usage by the registered user.

Article 4 (Prohibited Activities)

Users are prohibited from engaging in the following activities while using the Service:

  1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
  2. Acts related to criminal activities.
  3. Acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights of the Company, other users of the Service, or third parties.
  4. Acts that the Company deems to be for the purpose of or related to providing benefits to antisocial forces.
  5. Any other acts the Company deems inappropriate.

Article 5 (Suspension of Service)

The Company may suspend or interrupt the provision of all or part of the Service without prior notice to users if:

  1. Maintenance or updates of the system related to the Service are performed.
  2. Provision of the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, wind and flood damage, power outages, or natural disasters.
  3. Computers or communication lines are stopped due to accidents.
  4. The Company determines that the provision of the Service is difficult for other reasons.

Article 6 (Usage Restrictions and Cancellation of Registration)

The Company may restrict the use of all or part of the Service or cancel the user's registration without prior notice if:

  1. The user violates any provision of the Terms.
  2. It is found that the registered information contains false facts.
  3. The Company deems the user's use of the Service inappropriate.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users as a result of using the Service unless such damages are caused by the Company's intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 8 (Changes to Service Content)

The Company may change the content of the Service or discontinue the provision of the Service without notifying users and shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users as a result of these changes.

Article 9 (Changes to the Terms)

The Company may change the Terms at any time without notifying users if it deems necessary.

Article 10 (Notifications and Communications)

Notifications or communications between users and the Company shall be conducted in the manner prescribed by the Company.

Article 11 (Prohibition of Transfer of Rights and Obligations)

Users may not transfer or pledge their contractual status or rights and obligations under the Terms to any third party without the prior written consent of the Company.

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

The interpretation of the Terms shall be governed by Japanese law. In the event of any dispute arising in connection with the Service, the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall apply.

 

Article 13 (Shipping and Refunds)

1. Responsibility for Shipping

In the event of any issues arising during the shipping process, our company assumes no responsibility. All responsibility lies with the shipping agent or the customer. If any shipping problems occur, customers must contact the shipping agent directly to resolve the issue.

2. Refund Policy

Refund requests are only accepted within 30 days from the date of shipment. Once a refund request is submitted, our company will investigate the request and determine whether a refund is warranted.

Conditions for Refund Eligibility

  • The product is damaged
  • The incorrect product was shipped
  • Other issues attributable to the company's responsibility

3. Refund Procedures

If, after investigation, a refund is approved, a full or partial refund will be issued. Upon approval of the refund, customers should verify the transaction with their credit card, bank, or PayPal account. The method and amount of the refund will be determined based on the company's investigation results.

4. Refund Process

  1. Submitting a Refund Request Customers must submit a refund request within 30 days from the date of shipment. Requests should be made through our customer support at support@ihopes.jp.

  2. Conducting an Investigation Upon receiving the refund request, our company will investigate the issue. The investigation may take several days to weeks.

  3. Notification of Investigation Results After completing the investigation, our company will notify the customer of the refund decision and the refund amount.

  4. Processing the Refund If the refund is approved, our company will process the refund promptly. Customers should check their credit card, bank account, or PayPal account to confirm that the refund has been completed.

5. Important Notes

  • Refund requests submitted after the 30-day period will not be accepted.
  • For delays or errors caused by the shipping agent, please contact the shipping agent directly.
